Sneak Peek at 300

Some of the funniest short-quips in any average RiffTrax commentary are when the riffers compare a character on the screen to some other well-known person. Here are just a few of the ResembleRiffs that pop up in 300 ...

Spartan Soldier and Kenny G.

Ephialtes and Clint Howard.

Leonidas and Rutheford B. Hayes.

Uber Immortal and Peter Garrett of Midnight Oil.

Street Urchin and Mr. Clean.

The RiffNotes for 300 will be ready for download by the end of the day.

Coming Up: RiffNotes for 300

Just a quick update: work has now begun on the RiffNotes for 300. Should have it ready for download by no later than July 10, 2008.

Carry on.

Whoa! You don't own the RiffTrax commentary for 300 yet? What the hell are you waiting for? This is probably one of the Top Five funniest riffs in the RiffTrax catalog, and you don't want to miss out on the laughs. The chemistry between the three guys is really, really good in this commentary, plus you get to hear the extended "This! Is! Sparta!" joke (which will change your outlook on life forever). Click on the image here to the left, pay your $3.99 entrance fee, change into your red cape and leather battle-panties, flex your pecs, and enjoy the Riff.

What's It All About?

This site features downloadable notes on the hilarious RiffTrax audio commentaries, available from RiffTrax.com

Every now and then, Mike and the other riffers will make a joke that requires a little bit of background knowledge in order to "get it". If you've ever wondered what some of the RiffTrax riffers were talking about when they told a particular joke, you will enjoy this site immensely.

My hope is to make your Riff-watching experience more enjoyable by helping you get "in the loop" on some of the jokes. I also hope that, as you read the RiffNotes, you'll acquire a greater appreciation for the subtlety and intelligence of the riffers at RiffTrax.
